"For God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy to a man who is good in His sight;" (Ecclesiastes 2:26)...the eighties are passed. . . rejoice God has seen us through them. . . it not only is the beginning of a new year...it is also the beginning of a new decade... so let us start off right. . . let us claim the above promise. . . it is for us...let us ask for grace to set our priorities aright...you may be looking for answers...problems may be besetting you...you need help to understand...seek God first...He gives wisdom and knowledge . . . He is the help you need . . . acknowledge it . . . when you pray, hear God say to you, "Indeed I have spoken it; I will also bring it to pass. . . I have purposed it; I will also do it" (Isaiah 46:11) Seek God first...accept His promises...He-promised to make darkness light...He promised to make crooked places straight... His word tells us this (Isaiah 42:16)...He will not forsake us... Remember that joy is also promised...there is joy and rejoicing in our trusting God in Christ Jesus..."He will be very gracious to you at the sound of your cry; When he hears it, He will answer you." (Isaiah 30:19B) Don't these words reassure you?...remember them... and rejoice at His gracious promise...when you are overwhelmed by sorrow...or when everything seems to be falling apart...or when nothing seems to go right...remember Solomon's word (Ecclesiastes 3:1) "To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under Heaven"...after a time these things will pass...Psalm 30:5 tells us "weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning"... Hold tight to the glorious promises of God...Know He will see you through'
