Hope of the Righteous

"The hope of the righteous will be gladness." (Proverbs 10:28) God promises us this. He tells us in His word, that all things work together for good...It is important for us who love the Lord...to be content...knowing we are beloved of God...and He fills our heart with joy...and gladness...Psalm 64:10 says, "The righteous shall be glad in the Lord, and shall trust in Him"...in these words you have a winning combination. Whatever circumstances we find ourselves in... this very moment. . . let us be glad and trust in our Lord. . . to see us through...knowing it all works to good...we might be having a problem... God's word promises to shed light on it and gladness shall flood our heart. (Psalm 97:11) Each time God shines His light on any circumstance.. we gain in knowledge of Him...We see His word come alive in our lives... Jesus speaks, "I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life." (John 8:12)... It is darkness that sets us to fear...we are surrounded by light... we are set free of fear...by the light of life, our Lord Jesus Christ... even in the night hours He surrounds us with light...He is always with us...even our problems are bathed in light...what have we to fear...we are promised eternal life. (I John 2:25)...Find joy in the Lord...He promises never to leave us nor, forsake us...be content with such things as you have (Hebrews 13:5)...With joy in the Lord... believing His promises flood your soul with contentment...knowing the joy of the Lord is your strength...our hearts are filled with gladness...nothing is too hard for Him...Solomon in his prayer stated a fact, when he said, "Blessed be the Lord" "there hath not failed one word of all His good promises." (I Kings 8:56)...Know also He will not fail us either...Jesus Christ the same yesterday...today... and forever.
