Psalm 37:5 tells us to "Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust in Him; and He shall bring it to pass." We can become so intent on doing things our way...we actually lose sight of God...God wants us to delight ourselves in Him...He wants to give us the desires of our hearts...He wants us to stop manipulating circumstances and put our reliance on Him...Proverbs 16:3 instructs us to "Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established." You want to succeed stop trusting in your ability...start committing your works unto the Lord...As you start trusting the Lord...He not only will see you have success, but He will give you even more... He will make your ways pleasing to Him...Proverbs 16:7 states, "When a man's ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him." As we hand over to God... our works...our ways and yes even ourselves as living sacrifices...we will see our lives...our relations...our works...take on new and wondrous dimensions...We don't have to envy anyone else...God tells us He wants to give us the desires of our hearts...As you commit your way unto the Lord...you become prudent and are crowned with knowledge (Proverbs 14:18)...When you have tried every which way to succeed and still fail you throw up your hands and grudgingly give it to God...Ask the Lord for wisdom to start with Him and then see prospering take shape in all your endeavors..."Delight thyself also in the Lord; and He shall give you the desires of your heart." (Psalm 37:4)
