Angel Of Death Calls Pioneer
Mrs Henry Coller, after lingering for ten days between
life and death, passed away Saturday evening at 9:20. Mary A. Smith was
born in Burbank, Wayne Co, O.. She was united in marriage to
Henry Coller at the same place. They came to Bowling Green in 1872 where they
have since resided. She was a lady of education and culture teaching school
several years before her marriage. She was of a quiet and retiring disposition,
devoting her time to her home and family. She had been in poor health for years
but since the death of her son Claude, she had failed greatly. She leaves to
mourn her loss her husband and children: Wallace and May of Toledo; Josephine,
Arthur and Herbert of Bowling Green.
Being afflicted with rheumatism, she did not go much, but she lived a true
Christian in her home and was always thinking of the welfare of others, even in
her last sickness. The husband losses a faithful wife and the children a kind
and loving mother.
The funeral will be conducted at the home, 215 South Prospect street, Tuesday
at 1 p.m..
A host of friends extend their sympathy to the family.
