Angeline (Fork) Dietsch was born February 14, 1844, in Hanover, Germany, and
died at her home in Milford Township, Defiance Count, Ohio, May 7, 1909, aged
65 years, 2 months and 23 days.
When nine months old she came to this country with her parents who, located
in Wood County, O. On February 1, 1863 she was united in marriage to George
Dietsch. To this union were born seven children; George and Lottie who died in
infancy. Charles H., Alvin F., Edith E., Olive M. and Ernest E., who with the husband, one brother and two sisters remain to mourn her departure. She was confirmed in the German Lutheran Church in which faith she lived and died. The consistency of her christian life and her genial, sympathetic nature won for her a host of friends, who during her long illness, showed kindness sympathy that can never be forgotten by the rereaved family.
The funeral service was held in the Methodist Episcopal Church in Edgerton and was conducted by the Rev. R. E. Carter. the remains were laid to rest in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton.
