Pneumonia Took Life Of Resident
SubTitle - Mrs Wm. Van Bus Kirk Called By Death After Eight Days' Illness--
Funeral Services Sunday Morning
Mrs Martha Van Buskirk, wife of William Van Buskirk, quietly passed away at her
home at 201 Enterprise st. this morning at nine o'clock after an illness
lasting since a week ago last Wednesday with pneumonia. Her death was expected
as she had been hovering between life and death for the past few days. Rev. M.
J. Maxwell will officiate at the services which will be held at the late-
residence Sunday morning at ten o'clock. Interment will be made at Oak Grove
Cemetery.
Mrs Van Buskirk was born near Perrysburg and had spent all of her life in Wood
County. She was 72 years, two months and 20 days old at the time of her death.
She was united in marriage forty years ago to Wm. Van Buskirk who survives her.
A son, Carrie, was killed three weeks ago in an accident on the C., H. & D.
road. His lifeless body was found by Forest Gustin as he drove over the
railroad track.
Surviving are the husband, and five children. Mrs Peter Potter, Mrs Arthur
Coller, Mrs Howard Shearer and Mrs W. E. Turritin of Bowling Green, and Wm. Van
Buskirk Jr., of Cleveland.
