In Dr Stiles' copy Records of Churches of Scituate and Barnstable is t he following: "28 Goodman Lewis Sr, joined Sept 20, 1635 and again "Ephr aim son of George Lewis, July 25, 1644." (See New England His. and Gen. Register vol ix, page 282. This is named because Ephraim and Edward were supposed by Mr Drake to be the same person. The will of Geroge Lewis e xhibited March 3, 1663 of Barnstable speaks of both. Reg., vol vi, pag e 185.)
