Nathaniel and Joseph LEWIS are names that appear on the rate-list of 16 67 as partners in estate. They were transient residents, and probably so ns of George LEWIS, of Scituate, 4 [4. Ibid., p. 303.] brother of John, the freeman of 1637. If the latter, as we have supposed, was identical w ith John LEWIS, of New London, these young men were his nephews.
