Features included message base forums, 100 online games to play, over 20 gigs of
files to download including the entire Aminet Archive,
and a local Western New York BBS Lister utility.
Over its Ten Year lifespan the Blue Moon BBS provided enjoyment to thousands
of people in the Western New York area and beyond. It will be sorely missed by
many.
The Bulletin Board was run by an Amiga 4000 on steroids directly connected to
our K56flex/V.90 and X2/V.90 56K modem banks as well as our high speed
internet connection.
The BBS was closed May 17, 2000 for lack of use, hanging on for longer than almost all other classic bulletin board systems. Great thanks go out to HFS, Opus, Alcoman, Malaphus and Aunt Bea for their years of effort with the Blue Moon BBS.
