Immigrated to America in 1750. the arrived on the ship "Brotherhood".
Note#2: He engaged in military service with his brother, Elias, as an Ensign un der the command of his brother-in-law, George Poe. He was an Ensign in C apt. George Poe's Co., Middle Dist, 34th Battalion Revolutionary War, co mmissioned 11 Jun 1776. He purchased "Madam's Defeat" and "Kemps Long Me adow."
