Strassberger"s Pennsylvania Pioneers" records that Teobalt Weylland and Anna Katherine Kirch reached Philadelphia on Nov 3, 1750, according to the passenger list of the ship "Brotherhood," dated November 3, 1750. Th e Rupp edition of Ship Lists shows Teobalt Williahr. They probably joine d Dewalt's brothers in York County, Pennsylvania, for awhile, then proba bly went on into Maryland at the same time as brother Johann Peter in 17 51.

Dewalt was also known as Theobald, and a Theobald Williard was naturali zed April 10, 1760. (Colonial Maryland Naturalizations," by Jeffrey A. a nd Florence L Wyland.

Note#3:
"Western Maryland Genealogy" (a magazine published quarterly by Pat Abe lard Anderson, GenLaw Resources, Box 9187 Gaithersburg, Maryland, 20898) says Dewalt dictated his will on 26 November 1781 and that it was prove d on 12 Jan 1782. (Frederick County Will GM#1:215)

Dewalt married Anna Katherine KIRCH, daughter of George KIRCH and Anna Elizabeth ??. (Anna Katherine KIRCH was born in 1710.)
